From the site:
"Nerd Elite is the latest incarnation of an unprolific, one-man production company. In college, Nerd Elite operated under the moniker Laughingstock Productions and was responsible for "Peg Leg" (a satirical magazine), "The Hook" (a sketch comedy show) and many other delightful endeavors that you've never heard of.
Beyond that, Nerd Elite is a social classification that categorizes those of us that are smart, witty and adept but spent the majority of our formative years studying instead of chasing booze and [censored]."

"The French have a long tradition of surrendering, and it is in this tradition that…Nous Non Plus is born.
…Nous Non Plus (meaning “We neither,” and/or also “Neither do we,” as well as, literally, “Us No More”) is composed of former members of the Paris-by-way-of-New York band, Les Sans Culottes. After numerous years of performing as Les Sans Culottes, the band formed in the summer of 2005 after [this portion of the bio has been removed for legal reasons]. Rather than continue fighting in [this section has also been blacked out], Céline et al decided it was best to fight this fight on the slightly more affordable Boulevard d’Opinion Publique. Justice is blind, the band can tell you this firsthand… "
ah well, the joys of indie bands...
"Their sound was crafted off the drunken vapors of French pop, as heard through the ears of (mostly) Americans. After years of playing together, the band has grown, matured, ripened—like fine Bordeaux."

A wonderful clothing/housewares/accessories shop that Vince Viray and his family opened in San Franciso. What folks have to say about it-
"It's a brand new addition to the quaint hood of cafe's and cheese shops in glen park, but the first clothing store to the block. They have an excellent collection of clothes by independent/local designers, unique housewares, and awesome handmade jewelry. unlike other boutiques, however, the jewelry is quite chic and affordable. The store owner is quite nice and her daughters are the inspiration and clearly have a good eye for fashion and unique finds. Its a great place to get unique goods at good prices."
Located at 654 Chenery St. in San Francisco, CA 94101, 2 blocks from Glen Park BART station between Diamond and Castro
