A little bit about Lovecraft Bar:
The strange, dark fiction of H.P. Lovecraft exerts a pull on this East Village watering hole whose design is studded with occult references (in work by a local artist), portal-like fixtures and steampunk contraptions. Other diversions include live music, food and cocktail menus resembling pulp paperbacks.

There is food too.
